We are Meelie Moo Ltd (‘Company’, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’). We are registered in England and Wales with registered number: 1496770 and we operate the website: www.meeliemoo.co.uk.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Website. By using the Website and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

We produce and sell essential nutritious food for babies, infants and toddlers. Our pods are prepared using high-quality and natural ingredients.

If you have any queries or issues with your order(s), you can contact us either via Live Chat, or write to us at he***@**********co.uk. We are open Monday to Saturday from 8am – 6pm.

2. Your Order(s) and Delivery
We will process your order(s) promptly, and delivery times will be subject to standard shipping practices. You will be responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We will not be held liable for any delays or issues arising from incorrect information provided at the checkout page.

3. Order number query
We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is via email when we accept your order. Please quote your order number whenever you contact us.

4. If we need to contact you
If we have to contact you we will do so by writing to you at the email address you provided to us in your order.

5. We only sell within the UK
We only sell our food within the UK. We currently deliver to mainland UK only (excluding Northern Ireland and some remote areas). To find out if we deliver to your area send us an email, orders outside of our delivery area are currently rejected at checkout.

6. Allergies
We do not operate in an allergen free kitchen. Please do not order our products if you or your child has a severe allergy. 

‍7. Allergic reactions (Nut Butter)
We produce and sell a variety of nuts (peanuts, almonds, cashews and brazil nuts) that are made into nut butter. We take extreme precaution handling the nuts and the nut butters. We make sure to follow all hygienic steps to prevent cross-contamination between the nut/nut butter products and the other nut free food products. However, you, the customer, acknowledges that the consumption or use of the nut butter product involves inherent risks, including the risk of allergic reactions. By purchasing or using the nut butter product, you, the customer, voluntarily assumes all such risks. Therefore, Meelie Moo is no liable for any allergic reactions.

8. The dirty dozen
We guarantee our fruit and vegetables listed within the dirty dozen are all 100% organic. 

9. Our pods may vary slightly from their pictures
All of our pods are handmade by us. Please bear in mind that there may be a small degree of variation on the aspect of our pods to their pictures. Our handmade nature means that some of our pods may not always be identical to each other.

10. Images of our pods 
The pictures of our pods on our website are for illustrative purposes only.  We also cannot guarantee that a device’s colour display accurately reflects the colour of our products.

‍11. Use by date and storage 

Each pod is made out of the freshest produce, and each box will have a use-by date. Every box of pods needs to be stored in your freezer. While frozen, our pods have a 6-month life from the date they are made. Once defrosted, each pod needs to be consumed within 24 hours. 

‍12. Arranging Delivery
We will contact you upon receiving your order with an estimated delivery day via email.

‍13. Delivery and costs
We are pleased to be able to offer free delivery for orders over £45.00. All other orders are subject to a delivery charge of £6.99. Our delivery costs are under constant review and may change.

14. Delays in delivery outside of our control
If the supply of our products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. In this instance, we will not be liable for delays caused by such event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

‍15. Your responsible for the product(s)
The moment we deliver the products to the address you have provided us, the frozen food (pods) become your responsibility. Therefore, it becomes your responsibility to store the food in freezer, as beyond this point we are not liable for any deterioration of the food.

16. Your rights to end/cancel your order
In line with Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, we allow you to change your mind within 2 hours of placing your order. After which point cancellations are dealt with on a case by case basis. If the cancellation request is completed before fulfilment of your order, we will offer a refund. If your order has already been fulfilled we may not be able to refund you the full price of the product.

‍17. Our rights to end/cancel your order
We reserve the right to cancel your order by writing to you if we are not fit to safely complete it, there is a delay in stock or the order is not within our delivery radius (some UK regions only). We will refund the cost of the product in this unlikely situation.

‍18. If there is a problem with the product
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the frozen food are damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong product. This must be done within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please make sure to take and send us photos to support claims. Please email he***@**********co.uk for assistance. 

We will notify you whether  the refund is approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take a few days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund or appear on your bank statement.

19. If you are not satisfied
If you are not 100% satisfied with our pods we want to know. You can contact via email: he***@**********co.uk. We are open Monday to Saturday from 8am – 6pm.

Please bear in mind, due to safety and hygiene reasons, as well as the perishable nature of our products, we are not able to offer returns or exchange. However, we do take any complaints seriously and we will refund where appropriate.

20. Product pricing
The price of the product is clearly stated at the time of choice of purchase. Orders may be subject to a delivery charge if they do not meet the minimum £45 total cost. Our prices may change to reflect the cost of goods and distribution. We will never change the price of your order once it has been made without spoken confirmation and acceptance of the new price plan.

21. When you must pay
Payment for goods must be made at the time you submit your order. Your payment is made by submitting your debit or credit card details with your order, and we can take payment immediately or otherwise before delivery of the goods.

22. How you can pay

All payments are in GBP.

23. Responsibility for loss or damage 
We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us.If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill.

24. Dog friendly
We acknowledge that many homes have pets, especially cheeky dogs that enjoy the challenge of eating foods that babies either share or may drop on to the floor. We can assure you that 98% of our frozen pods are dog friendly. However, there are two products (Leek and Kale) that owners should be aware they are not safe for dogs to consume. We are not liable for any dog consuming a leek or kale pod(s). It’s the owner’s responsibility to be careful with these specific pods.

Additionally, our nut butters are not considered toxic for dog, however, consuming a large quantity can cause upset stomach and/or digestive issues. We are not liable for the consumption of our nut butters by any dog and any possible side effects they may develop.

25. Other pets
If you have other pets, we are not liable if they consume any of our pods or nut butter. It’s the owner’s responsibility to be careful if their pet is either given or accidentally consumes food that is not safe for them.
